Service Description
If you have diabetes, taking care of your eyes is especially important. Diabetes is a disease of the blood vessels. In the eye, Diabetic Eye Disease can cause bleeding and leakage of fluid in the retina. This is called diabetic retinopathy and can lead to loss of vision. If detected early, some visual loss can be reversed. But the more profound the damage, the harder it is to correct. Therefore, regular dilated retinal exams are crucial to help preserve your eyesight. Beri Eye Care Associates (BECA) is committed to early diagnosis and appropriate management.
